Hollis has been playing with Nashville Rugby for the past 10 years and has been the President since 2015. He came to the sport back in college when he was attending art school in Denver. With no sports team available at school, Hollis began playing with the Denver Harlequins. Nashville has been home for the past 14 years, and he has a wife and a young son. Hollis is a professional photographer and film director. His visual and advertising background have been an asset to the organization in helping to get the word about rugby out there as well as integrate the sport into the community at large. As an active player, he was part of the Front Row; however, he has been more active on the admin/officer side of things as his love for the sport and Cub has driven him to help secure land for the organization and secure the future growth of rugby in Middle Tennessee.
Treasurer & Merchandise Director
Mike started his rugby career in high school playing for the Lawrence Claymores in Indianapolis, Indiana. He went on to compete at Florida State University where he was the Club President, Treasurer, Captain & All-Star while helping to advance from a Men’s Club to a D2 Collegiate side across his four years. Mike joined Nashville Rugby in 2008 and spent five years as Club President prior to his current roles. On the pitch, he plays in the Front Row.
Mark Williams returned to Nashville Rugby as the head coach in the fall of 2017 after coaching the team from 2000-2006. During his previous time with NRFC, he won three South Championships and placed second in the USA National Championships – Division II. His coaching experience runs deep starting with Middle Tennessee State University from 1986 – 1988 and then coached in 1998 where they won three South Championships, made the Sweet 16 in Nationals in 1998, and the Elite 8 in 1999. Mark has also coached the South Collegiate All-Stars U23 where they won the National Championship in 2000. He’s coached at the USA South Men’s All-Stars, Life University, Ravenwood High School U18, Woodland Middle School U14, USA Coach Development Program, and Sewanee University of the South. In addition to Nashville Rugby, he’s also the current Director and Head Coach for the Tennessee Tri-Stars and South U19 Programs. Mark’s impact to rugby has been felt across the entire state of Tennessee as he’s helped develop several programs and committees for youth rugby. His playing experience started in 1981 with MTSU, Nashville Rugby, and playing in overseas tours in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. In addition to Rugby, Mark is the Founder & CEO of RSU Contractors.
Julien started playing rugby at 17 years old in southwest France where he played for L'Usep Rugby. He played for eight years and excelled at Flanker. He moved to Nashville in 2015 and immediately joined Nashville Rugby. Julien's versatility allowed him to play multiple positions and brought a new style of play as a "player-coach." In 2017 Julien decided to join the coaching staff, primarily coaching the Forwards.
Mikey brings nearly a decade of rugby experience to Nashville Rugby. He first joined the Club in 2012 and played for one year before attending and playing for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) from 2013-2016. Mikey made an immediate impact helping a struggling team that was searching for wins become a division favorite. He also had a major role with their 7's program leading the team to win the Oak Leaf tournament during his tenure at UTC. He returned to Nashville in 2017 where he became a player and coach. In addition to coaching the Back's, he's part of the back three lineup, but has the versatility to play any of the back positions. Mikey is also a prospect for the USA South Panthers.
Nathan has nearly 10 years of rugby experience, starting his playing career at the University of Tennessee-Martin during his Freshman year. He later transferred to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he played both center positions, wing, and fullback. He started for the nationally ranked UT Vols for three years while earning All-Conference honors his Junior and Senior years in both 15s and 7s. After college, he played for the Knoxville Rugby Club, and Memphis Rugby Club before moving to Nashville in 2014. Nathan's impact on the team earned him the Captain role in 2017. He's also an active player of the USA South Panthers, and he was a starter for the 2017 team while winning the Rugby Americas Norht (RAN) championship. Nathan is an active member of the Nashville community and is a Financial Analyst for UBS in Nashville.

Adam started playing rugby at 15 years old in 2001 in high school for the Quad City Independence playing Fly Half. He was soon asked to play for The Quad City Men’s Rugby Club, where he spent nearly seven years playing a wide range of positions from Wing to Flanker. Soon after that, he attended Western Illinois University where he made an immediate impact, leading the team from a win-less season to three consecutive undefeated seasons. Adam moved to New York City in 2012 to play Semi-Pro rugby for AMNRL National champions, New York Raiders. He was selected for the AMNRL select side match earning league-MVP honors. He subsequently played for the National Division winners, New York Old Blue for one year before moving back to his home town of Rock Island, IL where he played one year with the Division I, Palmer Chiropractic team. Adam moved to Nashville in 2015 and started with Nashville Rugby immediately making an impact as a Front Row player. He earned his Captaincy in 2017 and is also the Sponsorship Director.
7's Director & Social Chair
Damon joined Nashville Rugby in 2015 having never played the sport. Playing football, hockey, and soccer virtually all of his life, he not only immediately fell in love with rugby, but the culture of NRFC and quickly immersed himself with the Club on and off the pitch. A Georgia native, Damon graduated from Florida State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Finance. He has worked and held Executive positions across the country in Commercial Financial, Hospitality, Commercial Property Management, and he served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. Damon moved to Nashville in 2010, and he's the founder and owner of NashVegas VIP. He is an active player as part of the back three with Nashville Rugby.
Ben started playing rugby in high school with the Lakebottom Spartans in Columbus, Georiga. He continued playing for The Cruise-A-Matics in Columbus/Fort Benning from 2009-2012. Ben then moved to Columbia, South Carolina where he played with the Columbia Olde Gray. In 2015, he moved to Clarksville, TN where he briefly played with the Clarksville Headhunters. In 2016, Ben joined Nashville Rugby, commuting one hour each way from Clarksville. He's been playing Scrum Half for Nashville since joining the team and has made an impact on and off the field. Ben is the Owner and Operator of two Marco's Pizza Franchises in Clarksville.
Vonny joined Nashville Rugby in 2014 after moving to Music City from Washington, DC where he attended graduate school and played rugby for American University. Prior to that, he played four years for the Purple Haze at The University of the South serving as Treasurer, President, and ultimately Captain for the team. Vonny has played virtually every position in the pack during his career, but spends most his time either in the front row or flanking. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, Vonny grew up skiing and playing soccer, football, baseball, and lacrosse before learning the game of rugby from his beloved Coach Stringer at Sewanee. He now lives in West Nashville working in the economic and community development field for the Greater Nashville Regional Council.
Waymon started playing rugby his freshman year in college at Lander University in 2006. As a versatile player, he played Center, loose Forward, and Lock. After college, he moved to Thailand and played one year with the Bangkok Bangers. He then traveled back home to South Carolina playing for the Greenville Griffins Rugby Club, and he was an Assistant Coach for Lander University's Rugby Club. Waymon joined Nashville Rugby in 2014 and immediately made an impact, primarily as the Eight Man. His play and attitude on and off of the field earned him the Captain role for the 2016/2017 season. Waymon's talent earned him a spot on the USA Rugby South Panthers team in 2013, where he's currently still an active player.
